I’m Josh, the barber behind Jcutz Barbering Abergavenny.

I started my barbering journey at the Barber School of Wales in Cardiff while studying a sports degree at university. But it didn’t take long to realise that my real passion was behind the chair — cutting hair, meeting people, and creating sharp, confident styles.

After completing my NVQ Level 2 in Barbering through an intensive course, I went on to work in professional barbershops across Cardiff and Abergavenny, where I built strong relationships with clients and honed my craft through real experience in the chair.

Now, I’m taking the next step — opening my own barbershop: Jcutz Barbering.
This is a space built on everything I value most — precision, professionalism, and community. Whether it’s a clean fade, a technical cut, or just a good chat about football and music, my goal is to make every client leave looking sharp and feeling confident.
